He pursued her, their friendship began and through time their hearts were knitted into a never-ending story. In her words “Marriage was never a question, it was a given.” Honoured to have been a part of Riley & Parosha’s day. What a beautiful couple! Read their full story below:

Tell us your love story! How did it all start and how did your journey lead to a proposal?
We met at the age of 18 yrs old at Varsity College Westville. Riley persuaded me for some time before i gave him a chance, we first became friends and the rest was history. We have been through good and bad in the last 8 years but our love has only grown stronger. Ever since Riley and i fell in love we always knew we were meant to be together and that it was God’s doing that we were in each others lives. Marriage was never a question it was a given.

Tell us what the inspiration behind your wedding was? How was your wedding fitting to your style and personality?
Riley and i were always very modern in our taste and preferences and therefore we agreed that our wedding had to reflect our personalities, but also a touch of tradition, as we are grateful to God for leading us to one another. Therefore our big day is the perfect combination of modernism and tradition. Our ceremony being very traditional and our reception being very modern. We both enjoy having fun and planned to do no different on this special day, We would like to enjoy every moment of it with our close friends and family.

Where did you get married and what did you love about your venue?
Camp Orchards Garden area for the ceremony. This venue is so beautiful for a garden ceremony, the scenery is lovely. The country theme of the venue is what we love most. So peaceful and calming.

Do you have any tips and advice for couples planning a wedding?
Always remember the reason you are planning a wedding, because it’s so easy to lose track of the bigger picture with stress, it’s about two hearts becoming one. Working together and learning to overcome differences. This period is so important in building the foundation of your lives together. There is so much you learn about each other, and it prepares you a little more for marriage. Take the experience with a positive heart and remember always stay calm, because in the end it’s just you and your spouse left with a lifetime ahead to make more wonderful memories.
